Well. Here we are.
If you've been hanging onto this newsletter subscription for the past three years, first of all: thank you. Genuinely. You didn't have to do that, and the fact that you did means more than I know how to say properly. You held a little space for Baxter Creek Pottery while I was away, and I didn't forget it.
So here's the news I've been excited to share: the shop is back, and it is stocked. Twenty-five new pieces are live on the website right now, each one made here in my studio in Hibbing, MN, glazed and fired and ready for a new home.
There's functional work, there's sculptural work, and there's a lot of the nature-rooted aesthetic that has always been at the core of what I make. If you've been a Baxter Creek person for a while, I think you'll feel it. If you're newer here, welcome, and I hope the work tells you something about where it comes from.
Here's the thing I want to flag for you, since you've earned it as a subscriber: I'm planning to share the shop update on social media this Wednesday. Once that happens, it's a wider audience and I can't predict how fast things will move. If there's something you've had your eye on, now is your window. You've got a head start, and I'd love for the pieces to go to people who've been along for the ride.
Thank you for sticking around. It's good to be back.
